My husband led the family in prayers for you last night, though we'd been praying since we first found out.
"Will Ellie and her mom be in heaven, Momma?" my kids wondered. "God can make it so," I told them. I'm not going to worry about the theology of it; only thank Him for the happiness He gave us in these dogs.
PS. Of all my children, Avila took your news the hardest--at least, she's the one that showed it.
Hi Paula, it's nice to read your blog again yet the news is so sad! Losing a pet is so heartbreaking. I agree with Margaret, that God can make it happen that we see our beloved pets in Heaven since he gave us the gift of them in life. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Prayers for peace!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so sorry Paula, for all of you.
