Okay, so I haven't posted one of these for a few weeks. I've been busy!
Today's item is something I made with finds from around the house.
BS....I've been playing around with my own perpetual Liturgical Calendar, and am really happy with the results. I like the idea of keeping a journal, but have never been able to write for longer than a week. I read something several months ago about a perpetual journal, and decided to try to make my own version. (I don't remember where I read about this, if I do I'll let you know!)
I downloaded some wonderful religious images, and printed them out on white cardstock - much sturdier than paper.
I pulled out my date stamper and index cards, and got to work. I cut all the index cards to fit in the basket, then stamped each one with the month and the day. I used my copper pen and wrote the month on the top of each image, in order to use the images as dividers. The basket is a leftover from a January DollarTree shopping visit, and the perfect size.
Every morning I pull out the card for the day, and on the first line I write the year. At the end of the day I jot down anything about the day I want to remember, and then I file it in the back.
I love having this perpetual, visual reminder of all the good things in my life!
